Fannin County Welcomes Whitepath Fabtech, Inc. Whitepath Fabtech, Inc. recently closed on its purchase of the former Kismet Products building at 118 Industrial Blvd.  Whitepath will create an immediate 25 jobs in Fannin County allowing the facility to begin operating at twenty-five percent capacity in 2003 and anticipates eventually running 75-employee shifts as the market allows. The company will immediately begin upgrades to the property's interior and exterior and expects production to begin late October 2003. Whitepath Fabtech is a wire harness assembly company established in 1989. The Blue Ridge facility will produce Heating/ Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) components

New Construction

Fannin County High School is currently undergoing a major facelift with an aggressive $9.5 million construction program that includes a new multi-purpose facility, new gymnasium and additional classroom and office space.

A new Fannin County Courthouse & Jail Multi-Plex is currently under construction and includes a 70,000 square foot 3-level courthouse, 84-bed jail, and expanded public library facilities.
