Police Protection: 27 full-time county personnel; Blue Ridge police personnel, McCaysville police personnel.

Zoning: Blue Ridge has zoning ordinance; County has land use plan.

TAXES

Property: Effective tax rates per $1000 of property at its fair market value. This rate applies to all property: land, buildings, machinery, equipment, and inventory.
